This week for Maths we had to choose to do poster,slide,animation or video and you have to chose to do addition,subtraction,multiplacation and division. My choise first was to do addition poster.

LI:To learn about trenches
For Inquiry this week we were learning about trenches.Treches are whole on the floor that people use to go so they dont get shot with a gun.For this learning we had to write about the treches and what was treches made of and why is trenches bad the reason why dirt treches are bad because when it rains it gets muddy and it get the people dirty the reason wooden ones is bad because there will be bugs coming and making people sick.

LI:To learn how to box
Today in the morning went to the school hall to learn how to box.Today we were learning about defence.Firt thing we always need to do is be in the Rock position,and today we also learned a new way to help ourselves not get hit in the four heads,it is called the face gaurd.We also learned to move back when my oponite trys to hit me.After that we learned to pertect our heads without the face gaurd it is called the roll,you have to move your head but you don't move your other parts of your body.

kiwi can

LI:Our topic for this term is Respect and our theme is Respecting our community.
Today we went to kiwi can and we started of with what community mean then Mr Mat told us what is our energiser,we had to make a circle and how you play is you put your weak hand befind you and you have to put your legs apart and there is a ball and we have to try to hit it through the people in the circles legs so they can be out and you have to try to stay alive until there are two people. After that we got into our game and it was hand soccer and I was number ten our team won twelve to ten.

LI:To learn about Maori
Today we watched an animation that was about what Maori people believe and it was about a man called maui and his brothers they were on a boat and they traveled with it and then they stopped to fish,Maui got his grandmothers hook and tied it on a string then threw it in the sea and something got it and they were stuck and a big storm came and Maui and they had caught the biggest fish in the world and then Maui took a step on it and it turned into land and Maui and his family frooze into stone then turned into mountins.
